Dear Lord,
Your word tells us that “Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty.” Lord, I pray that we would heed what your word says and tend to the field that you gave us and take good care of our wives and children. I pray that we would not follow worthless pursuits. Keep the poverty of a broken family far from my home and instead bring to my marriage and family a harvest of love and joy.
