Dear Lord,
Thank you for giving us your word to teach us about how to live in this world and how to live with others, especially our wives. Even though I have your word I seem to forget when my wife and I are going through a crazy cycle. I forget how to be patient and gentle. I forget how to be kind and understanding. I forget how to be humble and quite. Instead, I lash out in anger and frustration. I bicker and backbite. I’m sorry, Lord. Please change me and forgive me. Embed your word in my heart and flash it in front of my face on a daily basis to help me avoid going through these crazy cycles with my wife.
